Future plans include free-flying tropical butterflies on the Rainforest Conservatory and humming bird feeders in strategically placed locations. We also have a number of strategically placed beehives to help pollination while creating our own unique brand of honey.
The Botanical Gardens management will encourage regular school visits and the involvement of a wider Nevisian public.
The potential for horticultural training is also an area for development as is more emphasis on growing endemic Caribbean species within the Botanic Gardens and on biodiversity conservation.
Closer ties with botanical gardens elsewhere and the professional links through BGCI will help in achieving these future goals.
